BAGS 1-15 is an installation of suspended handbags adorned with my found objects including product packaging, childhood jewelry, and old clothing. The objects are appliqued, becoming precious artifacts that form narratives around consumption and its personal history. Suspending these utility-free bags creates a certain surreal space where individuals can experience the installation in any way they please and have room to contemplate about their own object consumption.
